You guys are trolls!’WHEN Westfield commissioned five bloggers to document its new spring-summer collections, the shopping centre giant was hoping to gain a share of the excitement around fashion on the internet.
McKessar photographed blokes at Bondi Beach wearing wetsuits with suit jackets, Spencer was shot by her father in a forest outside chrome hearts eyeglasses Boston in the US and Fabb also went to Bondi Beach to capture people on the promenade there.
"We've seen our fashion lovers getting information from a whole range of new sources that didn't exist in the past, so we see this as a crucial part of the future," Westfield's director of marketing, John Batistich, said.
But even he had no idea of the future online traffic that would result.
Blogger Alexandra Spencer received 2411 likes when she posted a sneak peak of her shoot for Westfield on her 4th and Bleeker blog, then 220 likes within 11 minutes when she posted a link to her blog on Instagram on Monday.
"It's about recognising the power of the blogger and creating more ways for our shoppers to get inspiration and information about shopping," Batistich said.
Five years ago, a corporate such as Westfield might have baulked at relinquishing part of its image to an unknown online army, but working with internet contributors is now an integral part of its fashion chrome hearts eyewear retail strategy.

Leopard print will likely be popular in fall clothing

As summer winds down, students and fashion lovers will chrome hearts eyeglasses scour local clothing stores for the perfect fall wardrobe.

“It’s my biggest season,” Julie Woodley, owner of DressCode in Plattsburgh, said of back-to-school time. “It’s like Christmas for everyone else.”

On a local level, it’s difficult to predict trends and what shoppers will favor before the season starts, said Stephanie Brown Mavor, owner of What’s In Store, which offers new clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children at a discount, in the Village of Champlain.

Leopard print will likely be popular in fall clothing, as well as sweaters and boots, Mavor said.

Aztec-inspired prints are also in this season, Lola’s Closet sales associate Krissy Flynn said, pointing to a sweater in the window of the boutique with a purple, turquoise, orange and brown geometric print.

Pieces with intricate prints are nice because they add chrome hearts eyewear interest to an outfit and few accessories will need to be added, she said.

“Asymmetrical is huge,” Woodley said.

Women’s magazines predict last fall’s polka dots, “granny” plaids and camouflage-inspired attire will be traded for wine and burgundy hues, navy blue, winter white and reptile print.

Skinny jeans and jeggings will also continue to be in fashion this fall, said Kristin Perry, manager of the women’s clothing store Pink in Saranac Lake.

For a simple yet chic first-day-of-school look, Perry recommends a pair of denim jeans, a loose-fitting T-shirt and boots or flats.
Flowy, button-up shirts; high-waisted pants; thin belts; and lace will be popular for fall, too, Woodley said.

Bright hues of magenta, red and green have been popular this summer, Flynn said.

Handbags, shoes and jewelry can add pops of color to an outfit, but brightly colored jeggings have taken the trend a step chrome hearts eyeglasses further.

And just because the summer fashion season will soon be over doesn’t mean fashion lovers need to put away spring and summer’s neons and brights, Flynn said. Brightly colored dresses can be paired with leggings, chunky sweaters and boots for a fall look.

Pieces traditionally thought of as spring or summer clothing can be combined with other pieces for the cooler weather, Perry said.

Atlanta’s fashion community gathered at the beautiful chrome hearts cross pendant Carnegie Salon at 200 Peachtree in Atlanta, GA for the PERONI Style Atlanta: Emerging Designers Competition.
Presented by Peroni Nastro Azzurro and under the leadership of Field Marketing Manager, Steve Canal, the Italian beer synonymous with style and fashion hosted the first of a series of global competitions providing emerging designers with the opportunity to showcase their lines before an audience of fashion industry experts and tastemakers. The Atlanta competition was a huge coup for the city looking to establish its mark in the global fashion industry.

Four talented designers qualified as semi-finalists after attending an intensive open casting call held the previous month. Olivia Prance, Afriyie Poku, Sarah Pankiewicz and Megan Huntz created spring/summer 2013 collections chrome hearts clothing sale inspired by their individual style and passion.

Atlanta-based designer Afriyie Poku won the competition by a standing ovation for his menswear line entitled, Oberama Afriyie, translated, “the man who is at the right place at the right time.”

Born in Ghana, Afriyie recalls his excitement for fashion began years ago as a child in Ghana watching his mother create garments. Although he was fascinated by the industry, male children were not allowed to touch a sewing machine, so for a time he kept his passion to himself. The self-taught designer says his inspiration for Oberama Afriyie came from menswear designs of the 18th and 19th century with his own modern twist.
